The mechanical sewing machine Juki TL-2300 Sumato is perfect for working with heavy threads and leather or upholstery fabrics, with a vertical rotary hook and portable flatbed base.

Extra thread guide for thick fabrics

When sewing heavy materials, the machine produces well-balanced seams without requiring a significant increase in needle thread tension when using thick threads with this thread guide.

Needle plate with large hole for thick fabrics

this needle plate has a larger needle hole and deeper thread escape grooves. These features help prevent sewing errors and produce well-balanced stitches when using a combination of heavy material and thick thread.

Smooth foot for thick fabrics

Deeper thread-relief grooves on the opposite side of the smooth foot help produce well-balanced stitches even when using thick thread. The material feeds smoothly under the smooth foot without sticking, ensuring a constant sewing flow.

NEW – Floating function (micro-lifter) 

Now equipped with the same mechanism as JUKI industrial sewing machines to prevent irregular stitches on quilts and velvet, as well as elongated stitches on knit fabrics. The presser foot floats 0 to 2 mm above the material, making it ideal for sewing over thick seams.

NEW – Foot control (with independent thread cutter pedal switch) 

the foot control lets you stop the needle exactly where you want. It responds perfectly even when you only want to sew one more stitch. The independent thread-cutting foot switch cuts the thread smoothly without missteps. The foot switch can be connected to either the left or right side of the pedal.

Vertical rotary hook

A full-size vertical rotary hook, like on JUKI industrial sewing machines, produces beautifully balanced, even stitches. Quiet, smooth operation even at speeds up to 1,500 stitches per minute.

Sturdy die-cast aluminum frame

 The machine body consists of a die-cast aluminum frame, which minimizes vibration and noise. Professional performance is maintained by using the same technology found in JUKI industrial sewing machines.
