- Place the fabric to which the ruffle will be applied in the groove of the foot, facing down.
- Sew while guiding the lower fabric without holding it back.
- Keep the upper fabric in the groove, moving it just enough and evenly.
- Increase stitch length and upper thread tension to enhance the gathering effect.
