No material is a problem for the HD718. HD stands for Heavy Duty, indicating this machine’s special focus on fabric feed, its real pride and strength. Don’t fear any type of heavy or lightweight fabric: 18 stitches and an automatic buttonhole make for a solid sewing experience, allowing you to explore creative sewing.

The Janome 700 series consists of basic, easy-to-use mechanical machines featuring an extremely convenient horizontal rotary hook that is easy to thread. The large dials are highly functional for stitch selection and for adjusting stitch length and width. The various stretch stitches can be adjusted quickly and easily.

To convert the machine to free arm, simply remove the extension table and the free arm is ready to use. Handy for sleeves, trouser legs and similar items.

The presser foot pressure is adjustable for all fabrics. Thick or thin, stiff or soft, this way your seams will be even and perfect in every situation.

The handy thread cutter lets you cut the thread at both the beginning and end of the seam. This way, the new seam can start without unthreading or creating a tangle of thread. A full 7 presser feet are included, with an indication of which foot to use. Possibility to sew with a twin needle and built-in accessory compartment.
