The JUKI HZL DX 7 electronic sewing machine has the following features:

Rectangular feed motion - JUKI has adopted the industrial rectangular feed system for home sewing machines as well. The rectangular motion system allows you to create high-quality stitches on any type of fabric. It makes flat seams even on three layers of folded denim; it sews thick fabrics evenly with ease; the feed dog stays in contact with the fabric longer for a more reliable seam; it sews thin fabrics, so the material does not bunch up even with lightweight cotton; it sews terry towels; and it feeds difficult fabrics smoothly and consistently.

Independent bobbin winder: to prepare the bobbin, wrap the thread around the bobbin a couple of times and place it in the guide. You can wind thread onto the bobbin at any time.

Quick shuttle threading system Automatic needle threading: simply place the thread in the thread guide and lower the lever. The needle is threaded automatically with one hand.

Straight stitch needle plate: simply slide the front lever to switch to the single-needle hole! It allows you to sew finer fabrics with the best needle penetration. The single-needle plate prevents the fabric from being pulled into the needle hole. It sews with precision and perfection thanks to free motion. Sew with complete peace of mind, because when the single-needle function is engaged, only straight stitch patterns can be selected.

The float function prevents uneven seams: by pressing the “float” button, you can sew with the presser foot slightly raised. Lifting the presser foot with the float function lets you sew fabrics without compressing the layers, preventing uneven seams. The presser foot height can be increased by 0.1 mm, allowing fine adjustment between the feed dog and the presser foot according to the material type

Create beautiful buttonholes easily thanks to the combination of Juki’s industrial background and modern technology: use the buttonhole sensor system for optimal feeding on any fabric. You will love making buttonholes in one pass, since the sensor measures and sews both the right and left sides evenly. It works automatically and in the optimal sequence for a perfectly finished buttonhole. The buttonhole foot includes a fixing plate; the fabric is pressed between the foot and the plate to keep it firmly in place; 16 types of buttonholes are available for any need; adjustable cutting width, and it is now possible to adjust the cutting width in 3 different ways.

To achieve maximum versatility, Juki now offers several functions that can be controlled via the foot switch. By pressing the rear part of the foot pedal, you can cut, raise the presser foot, reverse stitch, and make a single stitch. It allows you to sew easily without special functions.

Low-speed function: while holding down the needle up/down button, you can sew slowly and make perfect 90° corners.

Comfortable knee lifter: using the convenient knee lifter, which lets you raise and lower the presser foot without using your hands, you can raise the presser foot up to 12 mm. When the presser foot is raised to the maximum, you can switch from automatic function (buttons) to manual function (knee lifter).

 Tie-off stitch. For tie-off stitching at the beginning and end of the seam, you can select two types: “reverse stitch” or “tie-off stitch”. If you press the tie-off stitch button while sewing a pattern, the machine stops after making one stitch cycle.

Stitch adjustment dial: use the simple dial to adjust stitch width and length. The dial also allows slight adjustments when sewing zigzag stitches. Direct stitch pattern selection: you can select the most frequently used stitch types, such as straight stitch, overcast stitch, and zigzag, directly on the dial.

Stitch length: change the stitch length without altering the stitch density. Stitch patterns: you can sew decorative patterns thanks to stitch patterns. It is also possible to combine decorative patterns and letters. Lace patterns: create lace by sewing different stitch patterns in parallel. Take advantage of the combination of stitch patterns to create lace and braids.

Free motion: flip the switch and lower the feed dog. Enjoy both straight stitch and zigzag with free motion. Adjust the presser foot height to move the fabric easily. Enjoy the freedom of free motion.

Letter patterns: the sewing machine includes four types of alphanumeric characters. Up to ten stitch patterns can be stored as names and initials Sewing corners or adding appliqués: the stitch width can be adjusted gradually to achieve an accurate finish even at corners or at the beginning and end of a seam. By adjusting stitch width and length, you can easily control the corners of your pattern.

Pivot function: when you stop sewing, the needle stops in the down position and the presser foot lifts automatically to allow the fabric to move. This function makes it easy to sew corners. When you start sewing again, the presser foot lowers automatically to continue smooth stitching.

Setting to raise the presser foot after thread cutting Since the presser foot lifts automatically after the thread is cut, you can remove the fabric quickly. Adjustable stitch speed for start / reverse: you can adjust the starting and reverse speed in three steps: fast, normal, or slow.
