Features of this sewing machine include 2 types of automatic lock stitches at the beginning and end of a seam; you can choose between the reverse stitch or the reinforced stitch.

If you need to sew a very thick garment and have trouble starting the seam, simply press a button on the presser foot which positions it parallel to the needle plate and makes starting the seam easier.
