INSTRUCTIONS

  •  Attach the Husqvarna Viking Beading Foot.
  • Thread the needle with invisible polyester thread and the bobbin with sewing thread matching the fabric.
  • Select one of the following stitches on your Husqvarna Viking sewing machine: Heirloom applique stitch, length 3.0, width 4.0; or Overcast stitch, length 0.9, width 5.0; or Overcast stitch, length 3.0, width 4.0.
  • Place a 4 mm bead strand under the foot, keeping it in the groove on the underside of the Mini Beading Foot.
  • Place the stabilizer under the fabric. Lower the presser foot. Turn the handwheel to make a few stitches by hand gently.
  • First sew the beads onto fabric scraps to test thread tension, presser foot pressure, and stitch length and width according to the trim you are using.
