The Juki DX-2000 QVP features:
Rectangular feed motion - JUKI has adopted the industrial rectangular feed system for home sewing machines as well. The rectangular motion system makes it possible to create high-quality stitches on any type of fabric. It produces flat seams even with three-layer folded denim; it sews thick fabrics evenly and effortlessly; the feed dog stays in contact with the fabric longer for a more reliable stitch; it sews thin fabrics without the material bunching up, even with lightweight cotton; it sews terry towels; it feeds difficult-to-sew fabrics smoothly.
Independent bobbin winder: to prepare the bobbin, wrap the thread around it a couple of times and place it in the guide. You can wind thread onto the bobbin at any time.
Quick bobbin threading system Automatic needle threader: simply place the thread in the thread tension guide and lower the lever. The needle is threaded automatically using one hand.
Straight-stitch throat plate: simply slide the front lever to switch to the single-needle hole! It allows you to sew the finest fabrics with the best needle penetration. The single-needle throat plate prevents the fabric from being pulled into the needle hole. It sews precisely and perfectly thanks to the free motion. Sew with complete peace of mind, because when the single-needle function is activated, only straight stitch patterns can be selected.
The floating function prevents uneven seams: by pressing the “float” button, you can sew with the presser foot slightly raised. Raising the presser foot with the floating function lets you sew fabrics without compressing the layers, preventing uneven seams. The presser foot height can be increased by 0.1 mm, allowing fine adjustment between the feed dog and the presser foot according to the type of material
Create beautiful buttonholes easily thanks to the combination of Juki’s industrial background and modern technology: use the buttonhole sensor system for optimal feeding on any fabric. You will love creating the buttonhole in one go, since the sensor measures and stitches both the right and left sides evenly. It works automatically and in the best order for a perfectly finished buttonhole. The buttonhole foot includes a fixing plate; the fabric is pressed between the foot and the plate to keep it firmly in place; 16 types of buttonholes are available for every need; adjustable cut width, and it is now possible to adjust the cut width in 3 different ways.
To achieve maximum versatility, Juki now offers various functions that can be controlled through the foot pedal switch. By pressing the back part of the pedal, you can cut, raise the presser foot, reverse the stitch, and make a single stitch. It allows you to sew easily without special functions.
Low-speed function: by holding down the needle up/down button, you can sew slowly and make perfect 90° corners.
Comfortable knee lifter: using the comfortable knee lifter, which allows you to raise and lower the presser foot without using your hands, you can raise the presser foot up to 12 mm. When the presser foot is raised to the maximum, you can switch from automatic function (buttons) to manual function (knee lifter).
Tie-off stitch. For tie-off stitching at the beginning and end of the seam, you can select two types: “reverse stitch” or “tie-off stitch”. If you press the tie-off stitch button while sewing a pattern, the machine stops after completing one cycle of stitches.
Stitch adjustment dial: use the simple dial to adjust stitch width and length. The dial also allows for slight adjustments when sewing zigzag stitches. Direct stitch selection: you can select the most frequently used stitch types such as straight stitch, overlock stitch, and zigzag directly on the dial.
Stitch length: change the stitch length without altering stitch density. Stitch patterns: you can sew decorative patterns using stitch patterns. It is also possible to combine decorative patterns and letters. Lace patterns: create lace by sewing different stitch patterns in parallel. Take advantage of the combination of stitch patterns to create lace and braids.
Free motion: flip the switch and lower the feed dog. Enjoy both straight stitch and zigzag thanks to free motion. Adjust the presser foot height to move the fabric easily. Enjoy the freedom of free motion.
Letter patterns: the sewing machine includes four types of alphanumeric characters. It is possible to save up to ten stitch patterns as names and initials Sewing corners or adding appliqués: the stitch width can be adjusted gradually to achieve an accurate finish even at corners or at the beginning and end of a seam. By adjusting stitch width and length, you can easily control the corners of your pattern.
Pivot function: when you stop sewing, the needle stops in the down position and the presser foot rises automatically to allow the fabric to move. This function makes it easy to sew corners. When you start sewing again, the presser foot lowers automatically to continue smooth stitching.
Presser foot lift after thread cutting setting Since the presser foot automatically lifts after the thread is cut, you can remove the fabric quickly. Adjustable stitch speed for start/reverse: you can set the start and reverse speed in three steps: fast, normal, or slow.
