INSTRUCTIONS
- Attach the Husqvarna Viking Beading Foot.
- Thread the needle with invisible polyester thread and the bobbin with sewing thread matching the fabric.
- Select one of the following stitches on your Husqvarna Viking sewing machine: Heirloom applique stitch, length 3.0, width 4.0; or Overcast stitch, length 0.9, width 5.0; or Overcast stitch, length 3.0, width 4.0.
- Place a 4 mm bead strand under the foot, keeping it in the groove on the underside of the Mini Beading Foot.
- Place the stabilizer under the fabric. Lower the presser foot. Turn the handwheel to make a few stitches by hand gently.
- First sew the beads onto fabric scraps to test thread tension, presser foot pressure, and stitch length and width according to the trim you are using.
- Adjust as needed. Sew slowly. (With some stitches it may be necessary to adjust the stitch length while sewing or to program a stitch to obtain a better result.)
